I'm in the Automotive Technology program looking to become a master technician, I applied because I have a deep love and passion for not only cars but also motorsport, and it's a once and a lifetime experience.

Palmer Farrar

My name is Palmer and I am going to school for an associates in applied science. I joined the great race team because I thought it would be a once in a lifetime experience and I hope to start my own shop sometime after graduation.

Glayden Douglas

My name is Glayden Douglas, I'm studying both Automotive and Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel at STLCC for my career path. I plan to work on semi trucks in a Heavy Duty Diesel shop one day but would like to personally restore classic cars as a hobby. I am going on the Great Race because it gives me a once in a lifetime chance to immerse myself in what life might have been like in the time that these cars were made by using and treating these cars as they were intended some 3 generations ago.

Roberto Salguero

I'm Roberto a student currently enrolled in STLCC in the automotive program. Other than going to school I work at Valvoline full time and work on cars on my free time. Once I graduate from STLCC I plan on going to SIU to continue my education in automotive and eventually own a shop.

I'm a marine veteran that is in the automotive program at STLCC signed up for the race because I've always liked old cars and it seemed like a fun experience I want to find a good job to fund my restoration projects in the future.
